健康・医療Utensils, Containers, and Packaging

　To ensure the safety of utensils, containers, packaging, toys and detergent, the MHLW establishes specifications and standards for these products. The MHLW also prohibits the use of materials that do not meet the specifications and the manufacturing of them by using methods that do not meet standards.

• The MHLW published "20230306 New draft of Table １" and "20230306 New draft of Table ２" as the draft lists of base materials and additives based on the requests invited from April 26 to July 15, 2022. Please check Inviting applications for the Positive List (Appended Table 1) for the details. 
• The MHLW published "Policies being considered based on opinions and questions solicited" based on the requests invited from April 26 to July 15, 2022. Please check Inviting applications for the Positive List (Appended Table 1) for the details.  

• The MHLW closed acceptance for the requests on the new draft lists of the Positive List.

• On April 26, 2022 the MHLW started inviting applications for the substances listed in the Positive List. Please check Inviting applications for the Positive List (Appended Table 1) for the details. The application period is until July 15, 2022.

• The MHLW has started inviting applications for the substances listed in the Positive List. Please check Inviting applications for the Positive List (Appended Table 1) for the details.

• To amend the Positive List by a public notice, the MHLW needs to reorganize substances already listed in the Positive List and substances to be listed in the List, based on the requests about these substances from the relevant businesses including trade associations.
