Imported Meat and Poultry HACCP
Starting 1 June 2020, meat and poultry meat and offals allowed for import to Japan are limited to those from the listed countries, regions or establishments with HACCP-based hygiene control in place. This is based on Article 11.1 of the Food Sanitation Act and Article 11.2.1 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act. Listed eligible countries will be updated. For animal health requirements, please visit the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries website.

- Beef or Buffalo meat and offal
- Horse meat and offal
- Pork and offal
- Goat or sheep meat and offal
- Poultry meat and offal
