Elderly Employment Support Centers/Corners have been set up at major Public Employment Security Offices (34 Centers as of FY1998) to enable workers to select, at an early stage, a pattern of work that is matched to their interests and abilities. These centers provide advice and guidance on planning a working life.
      In addition, subsidies are paid to employers who have set up systems providing paid holidays to workers to enable them to prepare for work life in old age.
