The National Skill Competition for persons with disabilities (Abilympics) is held with the aim of promoting the development of trade skills for persons with disabilities and giving them a sense of pride and confidence that they can participate in society as skilled labor as well as broadly increasing society's awareness and understanding of persons with disabilities and thereby improving their opportunities for employment and social status.
