Postponement of the 15th ILO Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting

In the light of the devastating earthquake and tsunami which hit Northeastern Japan on 11 March 2011, the 310th Governing Body of the ILO decided that the Fifteenth Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting, which was planned to be held on 10-13 April 2011 in Kyoto Japan, be rescheduled. New date of the meeting will be decided at the 311th (June 2011) session of the Governing Body.

※ About every four years, the ILO Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting brings together the constituents from 45 countries in Asia and the Pacific, attended by representatives of the government, workers, and employers in each country. For realizing Decent Work in Asia, the meeting will widely discuss issues related to the ILO’s activities to be taken place in Asia and the Pacific region in the coming 4 years.
