Official Announcement on
The Japan Vision: Health Care 2035 Report
In Japan, the low birthrate, the rapidly ageing population and the advancement of medical technology are causing ripples in the health care environment. In response, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare established the Japan Vision: Health Care 2035 Advisory Panel, an advisory panel to create a vision of the health care system required in the year 2035. The Advisory Panel has been convened since February 2015 to develop strategies and recommendations to prepare and strengthen the health care system with focus areas including health promotion, health system sustainability, global health contributions, and community development.
Today, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare release the report as Minister Yasuhisa Shiozaki has received the final report developed by the Advisory Panel.
