Average monthly total cash earnings per regular employee in November 2000 were 299,197 yen inecreased by 0.7% compared with a year earlier .TBL-1 TBL-T-1
Contractual cash earnings were 285,324 yen increased by 0.9% and scheduled cash earnings were 265,577 yen increased by 0.6%.
Real wage index was increased by 1.5%.
Average monthly total hours worked per regular employee in November 2000 were 157.5 hours increased by 0.1% compared with a year earlier.TBL-2 TBL-T-2
Scheduled hours worked were 147.2 hours decreased by 0.2%.
Non-scheduled hours worked in Manufacturing were 14.8 hours increased by 10.5% and its seasonally adjusted figure was decreased by 0.5% from the previous month.

Regular employees of major industries were as follows:decreased by 1.1% in Manufacturing, decreased by 0.5% in Wholesale and Retail Trade, Eating and Drinking Places, and increased by 2.2% in Services.
