G8 Labour NIIGATA 2008

Explanation

The red circle represents the sun shining over the Japan Sea, the blue wave represents the Japan Sea facing Niigata and the green wave represents the pastoral landscape of the Niigata Plain. The logo consisting of the three elements together represents “NIIGATA”, where the G8 Labour and Employment Ministers Meeting 2008 will be held. At the same time, it also conveys a message of affluent lives for workers (red circle), and harmony between a sustainable society and the global environment (blue wave and green wave) towards the happiness of all working people.
