1 Cash Earnings

Average monthly total cash earnings per regular employee in November 2005 were 292,278 yen increased by 0.1%.

Contractual cash earnings were 274,447 yen increased by 0.6% and scheduled cash earnings were 254,531 yen increased by 0.6%.

Real wage index was increased by 1.2%.

2 Hours Worked

Average monthly total hours worked per regular employee in November 2005 were 152.8 hours decreased by 0.4%.

Non-scheduled hours worked in Manufacturing were 16.6 hours increased by 0.6% and its seasonally adjusted figure increased by 0.6% from the previous month.

3 Employment

Regular employees in November 2005 were increased by 0.5% compared with a year earlier, full-time employees were increased by 0.4%, part-time employees were increased by 0.6%.
