1 Cash Earnings

Average monthly total cash earnings per regular employee in June 2005 were 469,876 yen increased by 1.5%.

Contractual cash earnings were 273,767 yen increased by 0.5% and scheduled cash earnings were 254,825 yen increased by 0.3%.

Real wage index was increased by 2.2%.

2 Hours Worked

Average monthly total hours worked per regular employee in June 2005 were 156.5 hours increased by 0.1%.

Non-scheduled hours worked in Manufacturing were 15.7 hours decreased by 0.7% and its seasonally adjusted figure increased by 3.3% from the previous month.

3 Employment

Regular employees in June 2005 were increased by 0.6% compared with a year earlier, full-time employees were increased by 0.9%, part-time employees were same as the same month of the previous year.
