I. Life expectancies at specified ages

@In the abridged life tables for 2001, life expectancy at birth for males is 78.07 years, increased by 0.35 years from the previous year, and that for females is 84.93 years, increased by 0.33 years.
@Life expectancies at specified ages for males and females increase at every age. The difference in life expectancy at birth between males and females is 6.86 years, 0.02 years shorter than that of the previous year.
