I. Life expectancies at specified ages

In the abridged life tables for 2000, the life expectancy at birth for males is 77.64 years, increased by 0.54 years as compared with the previous year, and that for fBales is 84.62 years, increased by 0.63 years.

Life expectancies at specified ages for males and fBales increase at every age. The difference in life expectancy between males and fBales is 6.98 years, 0.09 years longer than that of the previous year.
