The proportion of children visiting medical institutions for decayed teeth rose from the previous survey.
In the breakdown of illnesses and injuries of subjects who visited hospitals or clinics over the past year, gcold, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumoniah accounted for the highest percentage, 78.6%, with an increase by 0.6% from the 4th survey, followed by gdecayed teethh (26.9%; increase by 9.0%) and ginfluenzah (23.7%; increase by 14.3%) (Table 5).
