Many respondents "take pleasure in the growth of the child."

In the breakdown of satisfactions with child rearing, the largest proportion of respondents "take pleasure in the growth of the child" (82.9%). In each of the major nursing patterns, "family ties strengthened" was the most popular reply in the group of "parents only," while "everyday life is exciting" preceded in "nurses, etc. since two years old or younger," and "human network widened through rearing the child" was higher than other satisfactions in the nursing pattern of "parents, and then kindergarten teachers since three years old" (Table 15).
