1 Cash Earnings

Average monthly total cash earnings per regular employee in June 2007 were 465,174 yen decreased by 1.1%.

Contractual cash earnings were 270,990 yen decreased by 0.1% and scheduled cash earnings were 251,763 yen decreased by 0.1%.

Real wage index was decreased by 0.9%.

2 Hours Worked

Average monthly total hours worked per regular employee in June 2007 were 156.8 hours decreased by 0.5% compared with a year earlier.

Non-scheduled hours worked in Manufacturing were 16.2 hours decreased by 0.5% and its seasonally adjusted figure was increased by 0.5%.

3 Employment

Regular employees in June 2007 were increased by 1.7% compared with a year earlier, full-time employees were increased by 1.0%, part-time employees were increased by 4.0%.
