I. Life expectancies at specified ages

 In the abridged life tables for 2003, life expectancy at birth for males is 78.36 years, increased by 0.04 years from that of the previous year, and that for females is 85.33 years, increased by 0.10 years.
 Life expectancies at specified ages for males and females increase at almost age. The difference in life expectancy at birth between males and females is 6.97 years, 0.06 years longer than that of the previous year.
